BACKGROUND:
Datu Piang Fire Station is strategically located at the Datu Piang Avenue, in front of Multipurpose Building, Poblacion Datu Piang, Maguindanao. The first Non Officer In-Charge Municipal Fire Marshal was Reynaldo P Chio during the time of PCINP in the year 1986-1988.
Followed by SFO4 Shuaib E. Quituar who rendered service as such from 1988 -2005 and from 2009-2017 preceded by SFO3 Mohaliden W. Ampang in the year 2006 to 2009. The station’s first firetruck was the Nissan GMC Model with Chassis No. LC580-02951 in the year 1987, detached from the service of Region 12.


DATU PIANG FIRE STATION has the capacity and ability to provide a systematic and quality public safety services within AOR. It demands a continuing knowledge and skills on fire prevention, suppression, investigation, emergency medical and rescue services.


MISSION:

The Datu Piang Fire Station has the mission to protect lives and properties through prevention, suppression and controlling destructive fires, investigate their causes and cater quality and humanitarian emergency and rescue services within AOR and to all neighboring municipalities and provinces when required.

VISION:

The Datu Piang Fire Station has the vision to be the most modified, responsible and effective fire station in the country towards a public safety conscious society.

Datu Piang Fire Station considers firefighting as a noble profession. It demands a continuing knowledge and skills on the prevention, suppression, investigation, emergency, medical and rescue services. Adhere to and internalize the sacred, universal human values, love of God and service to mankind with equality, and shall observe the principle of transparency in all dealings and transactions when public interest is the paramount concern.

The Datu Piang Fire Station has the fundamental objectives of protecting the lives and properties of its community recipients so as to bring the government closer to the people.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
The Datu Piang Fire Station has the four parts of MALTA CROSS as the center of its objectives, stated below to wit;
1. Prevention and Suppression
2. Emergency Medical Care Services
3. Enforce RA 9514, Fire Safety Education and Investigation
4. Search and Rescue Services, Response and Management


Presently, Datu Piang Fire Station has a strength of twenty five (25) non-commissioned officers headed by OIC- Municipal Fire Marshal, SFO3 Akmad A Purong, BFP. The BFP Personnel are divided into two (2) shiftings as reflected below;
